AI&DS
The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI&DS) at M. S. Engineering College, Bengaluru, was established in the academic year 2026–27 with an intake of 60 students. The department offers a four-year Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The department is committed to nurturing technically competent, innovative, and socially responsible engineers by providing a strong academic foundation, practical learning experiences, and a supportive environment that encourages creativity, research, and lifelong learning.
Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI&DS) is one of the fastest-growing fields of engineering, focusing on the development of intelligent systems that can learn from data, recognize patterns, solve complex problems, and support informed decision-making. The curriculum integrates core Computer Science subjects with emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cloud Computing, and Big Data Analytics.
